About Vessla
Vessla is an independent voice-control app for Tesla vehicles, built and operated by Ehsanti AB.
What we make
Vessla lets you control your Tesla by voice: lock and unlock, set the climate, start charging, navigate, find where you parked, open the trunk or frunk, and check status — press the mic, say what you want, and get one short spoken answer back. Speech is transcribed on your device in 12 languages, and typed commands work in any language.
Who builds it
Vessla is designed and built by Ehsan Livani, Founder of Ehsanti AB, an independent software company. It is a small, focused product rather than a big-company side project: one person owns the roadmap, the code, and the decisions about what Vessla will and won’t do with your car and your data. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.; “Tesla” is a trademark of Tesla, Inc., used only to describe compatibility. Vessla talks to your car exclusively through Tesla’s official, signed Fleet API — no private or reverse-engineered interfaces.
Why it exists
The things Tesla owners do most — locking up, warming the cabin, topping up the charge, finding the car in a car park — take several taps through a phone that first has to be unlocked. In the moments when you actually want them, hands full walking up to the car or half awake before you leave, that friction is exactly when a phone is hardest to use. Vessla collapses those steps into a single spoken sentence.
That focus is deliberate. Rather than mirror every screen in the official Tesla app, Vessla optimises the handful of everyday actions and makes them fast, forgiving of natural phrasing, and honest about whether they worked. It is built for the owner who wants to press, speak, and get on with their day — not to learn another dashboard.
How we build it
Every command goes through Tesla’s official, cryptographically signed vehicle-command protocol, and your speech is transcribed on your own device so only the resulting text command ever leaves your phone. Secrets — your Tesla token, your account — are kept server-side and encrypted, never baked into the app. New capabilities ship only once they behave predictably; a truthful “couldn’t do that” is treated as a better outcome than an impressive-looking guess. These aren’t marketing lines but the constraints the app is actually built within.
What we believe
- Predictable beats impressive. Vessla acts only on what you clearly ask. A truthful “couldn’t do that” is better than a false confirmation.
- Your credentials stay yours. You connect through Tesla’s own sign-in; we store an encrypted, revocable token — never your Tesla password — and you can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
- Privacy by default. Voice is transcribed on your device, and locations from “find my car” are opened in your maps app rather than read aloud or exposed.
